Why do we need to advocate mental health?
Some of the reason why some people might not get help if they have mental health problems or issues with a mental illness is either because of embarrassment or people think that it won't help them and make it even worse that it already is. This is why it is very important to advocate about our mental health and our mental illness as this can get worse after a while if your not going to do anything.
What are ways to advocate about mental health

Some of the ways that we can advocate about mental health is by doing posters about how important mental health is and put them around either if you are at school or work, making a group where people can express their feelings about some certain things and share their stories, etc. These are just some ways to try and make the situation better for the person and yourself and you learning about them and could use this to improve your social skills or make you happier in general that you are making other people smile.
